Motor Racing Network will broadcast three races this weekend from Darlington Raceway that includes the first race in the NASCAR Cup Series Playoffs.
Sunday’s Cook Out Southern 500 will kick off The Round of 16 that is led by regular-season champion Kevin Harvick, who brings in 57 Playoff points and will start with 2,057 after the reseed.
Jeff Striegle and Alex Hayden and will be in the MRN booth for all races at Darlington with Rusty Wallace joining them for the Cup Series race. Dave Moody and Mike Bagley will be calling the action from the turns with Winston Kelley and Steve Post reporting from pit road.
MRN’s pre-race show for the Cook Out Southern 500, hosted by Woody Cain, will begin at 5 p.m. ET.
The Darlington race weekend will begin on Saturday with the running of the Xfinity Series Sport Clips Haircuts VFW 200 with MRN’s air time at 12 p.m. ET.
Along with the Cup race, Sunday will also see the Gander RV & Outdoors Truck Series in action. The 147-lap race will mark the first time since 2011 that the Gander Trucks have competed at the track “Too Tough to Tame.”
