CONCORD, N.C. – Motor Racing Network’s hit TV show and podcast Winged Nation is teaming up with the Rip the Fence podcast team to bring the Sage Fruit Chili Bowl Nationals Pit Party to the historic River Spirit Expo Center in Tulsa, Oklahoma for the Lucas Oil Chili Bowl Nationals presented by General Tire.
Winged Nation host Steve Post and Rip the Fence co-hosts Tyler Burnett and Dillon Welch will be on location broadcasting live from 3-4 pm CT on January 17, 18 and from 5-6 pm CT on Saturday January 19. In addition, former driver and NASCAR Coast to Coast podcast co-host Hannah Newhouse will joining the trio for the live shows.
“The Chili Bowl is one of those iconic events that we have wanted to do shows from for years,” said Post. “With the addition of Rip The Fence last year, and their focus on traditions sprint cars and midgets, it made even more sense for us to team up and get to Tulsa. Personally it has been the number one item on my ‘bucket list’ for years so it’s very exciting, and we hope to share that excitement through our Pit Party broadcasts.”

In addition to co-hosting the shows, Welch will also be racing in the No. 99p Club Sport sponsored car. It is his seventh entry in the country’s biggest indoor midget race. Last year, Welch scored a win in his heat race and qualified for the Saturday night A-Main in 2016.
“The Chili Bowl is without a doubt one of the most prestigious and exciting races in all of motorsports,” said Welch. “As a fan of it first and now a competitor getting ready for my seventh start, the excitement of getting ready to spend a week in Tulsa never fades as the years go by. I’m looking forward to our MRN team having a presence out there and can’t wait to get things started on Thursday.”
