McIntosh Wins Chili Bowl Night 1

Cannon McIntosh scored a repeat victory in Monday’s opening night of the Lucas Oil Chili Bowl Nationals.

Driving the Keith Kunz Motorsports-Curb-Agajanian No. 71k, McIntosh took the lead from Ryan Bernal on Lap 4 in the 30-lap race and went on to give Kunz his 30th A-Feature win at the Tulsa Expo Raceway.

"I really didn’t think I was going to be able to do it again, but you just have to believe, and as the night went on, I started to believe more and more that I could do it and just told myself to be patient and be consistent, and that’s what it took to win tonight," McIntosh said.

Tyler Courtney finished second from the fourth starting position with Blake Hahn, Chris Windom and David Gravel rounding out the top five.
