Daytona 500 Third Practice Speeds

William Byron posted a fast lap of 45.901 seconds, 204.587 mph to lead Friday’s practice session for the 62nd running of the Daytona 500.

The practice was the first since last Saturday and followed up Sunday’s qualifying session and Thursday night’s Bluegreen Vacations Duel, where Byron won Race 2.

The final practice session is set for Saturday at 12:30 p.m ET, live on the Motor Racing Network.
