In tribute to the Richard Childress Racing’s 50th anniversary, and being a part of their history, Shell will carry a paint scheme from the 2007-2010 era on Joey Logano’s No. 22 Team Penske Shell-Pennzoil Ford Mustang.
Shell began their tenure with RCR with a trip to victory lane in the 2007 Daytona 500 with Kevin Harvick. Logano also had an experience with the car design from an incident at Pocono in June of 2010 with Harvick, where he coined the phrase, “she (DeLana Harvick) wears the fire suit in that family.”
Shell revealed the paint scheme in a video on social media that featured Logano’s wife, Brittany.
