A look at the Monster Energy NASCAR Cup Series paint schemes for the 2019 Bojangles’ Southern 500 at Darlington Raceway.
StarCom Racing will honor Sterling Marlin with its 2019 Darlington Throwback scheme for the Bojangles’ Southern 500. Landon’s Cassill’s No. 00 Chevrolet will resemble the Coors Light car that Marlin drove during his career.
Kurt Busch’s No. 1 Chevrolet Camaro ZL1 will look like his 1969 Chevrolet Camaro Z28.
Brad Keselowski’s No. 2 Team Penske Ford Mustang will resemble the Miller paint scheme that Rusty Wallace raced back in 1996.
Austin Dillon’s No. 3 American Ethanol Chevrolet will honor Richard Childress’ black-and-gold No. 3.
Big Buck Hunter will be on Kevin Harvick’s No. 4 Busch Beer Ford. The partnership between Busch and Big Buck Hunter gives consumers a variety of ways to help support wildlife conservation efforts, the most prominent being the new Busch Big Buck Hunter Permit. Hunters and non-hunters alike can purchase the permits on BigBuckHunter.com for $5, with all proceeds benefiting the National Forest Foundation (NFF).
Ryan Newman’s No. 6 Oscar Mayer Ford pays homage to Mark Martin’s 1993 scheme that scored Jack Roush’s first Southern 500 win in 1993.
Daniel Hemric’s No. 8 Caterpillar Chevrolet will honor the history and legacy of Caterpillar by going back to their original colors from the 1920s.
Chase Elliott’s No. 9 NAPA Auto Parts Chevrolet is a throwback the car his dad, Bill, drove in 1981 while racing for his father, George Elliott.
Aric Almirola’s No. 10 Smithfield Ford will sport the colors of Tony Stewart’s 2002 championship-winning car.
Denny Hamlin’s No. 11 FedEx Toyota is a tribute to Darrell Waltrip. The car resembles the No. 17 Western Auto car Waltrip drove starting in 1991.
Ryan Blaney’s No. 12 car is a throwback to Michael Waltrip’s Pennzoil car from 1991-1995.

Clint Bowyer’s No. 14 Ford Rush Truck Centers/Mobil 1 Ford will resemble Tony Stewart’s 2011 championship-winning car.

Ricky Stenhouse Jr. will team up with Duane “Dog” Chapman and his new unscripted series “Dog’s Most Wanted” at Darlington.
Kyle Busch’s throwback paint scheme will resemble the Snickers car that Bobby Hillin Jr. raced in 1990.
Martin Truex Jr.’s No. 19 Bass Pro Shops Toyota is a throwback to when he won back to when he won the first of two back-to-back championships in the Xfinity Series.
Erik Jones’ Sport Clips Toyota resembles his Late Model from his rookie year.
Paul Menard’s No. 21 paint scheme is inspired by the 1957 Ford Sunliner raced by Wood Brothers Racing’s late founder Glenn Wood.
In tribute to the Richard Childress Racing’s 50th anniversary, and being a part of their history, Shell will carry a paint scheme from the 2007-2010 era on Joey Logano’s No. 22 Shell-Pennzoil Ford Mustang. Logano also had an experience with the car design from an incident at Pocono in June of 2010 with Harvick, where he coined the phrase, “she (DeLana Harvick) wears the fire suit in that family.”
William Byron will race a “Days of Thunder” inspired Hendrick Autoguard/City Chevrolet.

Corey Lajoie’s No. 32 Keen Parts Ford will resemble the Nestle Crunch car Dale Jarrett drove in the early 90s in the Xfinity Series.
The No. 34 Front Row Motorsports Ford will honor Jimmy Means’ No. 52 Alka-Seltzer Pontiac. Means drove the iconic powder blue car in the late 1980s and early 1990s.
Matt Tifft will remember his family roots with a special paint scheme that pays tribute to his childhood “dirt track hero” David Hilliker. When Tifft was growing up, his dad owned a Dirt Late Model car, driven by Michigan Motorsports Hall of Famer Hilliker.

Front Row Motorsports, Shriners International and Shriners Hospitals for Children will honor and remember fellow Shriner David Pearson during the Bojangles’ Southern 500 at Darlington Raceway.
Daniel Suarez’s No. 41 Haas Ford will resemble Tony Stewart’s 2005 championship-winning car.
Kyle Larson’s Clover Chevrolet will resemble the No. 41 Kodiak Chevrolet that Ricky Craven drove.
Bubba Wallace’s No. 43 Chevy will feature a Victory Junction throwback paint scheme honoring the late Adam Petty. The scheme is a tribute to Adam’s ARCA Racing Series victory at Charlotte on Sept. 20, 1998. It was his only career win in the series.
Ryan Preece and the No. 47 Kroger team will tribute Ron Bouchard, who not only raced the No. 47 in the NASCAR Cup Series from 1981-1987, but also raced for Bob Judkins, Preece’s grandfather who passed in October 2018.
Jimmie Johnson’s No. 48 Ally Chevrolet will resemble the Chevy Thunder Trophy Truck he piloted in 1995.
The Jacob Companies No. 51 for Rick Ware Racing will have a Stroker Ace theme resembling the Chicken Pit car.
Rick Ware Racing will honor Bill Blair, who won at Daytona on the beach/highway course in 1953.
The No. 54 Chevrolet is a throwback to the 1973 Pepsi scheme for Lennie Pond.

Motor Racing Network will partner with Spire Motorsports as the sponsor of the No. 77 Motor Racing Network Chevrolet Camaro ZL1, driven by Reed Sorenson, for the Monster Energy NASCAR Cup Series Bojangles’ Southern 500 at Darlington Raceway on Labor Day weekend. The livery will pay tribute to MRN’s 50 years as “The Voice of NASCAR” and celebrate 11 radio stations who have carried and supported NASCAR racing since the network’s inception. Read More
Alex Bowman’s No. 88 Axalta Chevrolet honors the late Tim Richmond, who won the 1986 Southern 500 for team owner Rick Hendrick.
Leavine Family Racing will have a IMSA GTO Throwback Toyota Camry. The championship-winning IMSA GTO Toyota carried the classic red, orange & yellow striped scheme which is synonymous with Toyota performance in American motorsports.
