LaJoie Racing for a Cause

Corey LaJoie is racing for a great cause this weekend as he will help bring awareness to Samaritan’s Feet, a 501 (c)(3) organization, at Watkins Glen International.

LaJoie, who is nicknamed “SuperShoe,” is helping fund to put the charity – which gives shoes to people who are in need around the world – on the No. 32 Go Fas Racing Ford. He made the announcement this week on the MRN “Sunday Money” podcast.

“We didn’t have a sponsor for this week. I called Archie (St. Hilaire) and told him that I would be open to waiving my month’s worth of salary to put Samaritan’s Feet on the car,” LaJoie said. “It’s a great cause. We are trying to raise money to buy shoes for the people who need them. Last year they gave a million pairs of shoes away. This year we are trying to give two million pairs of shoes away.”

LaJoie also announced via social media that he will personally write the names of people who donate through Sunday on his No. 32 Ford.
