Matt Kenseth has added 10 races to his 2018 Monster Energy Series schedule as he continues to share seat time with Trevor Bayne at Roush Fenway Racing.
Kenseth, who stepped away from the sport at the end of last season but returned last month to assist his old team, will kick off this new stretch of races July 14 at Kentucky Speedway.
Bayne is expected to drive the No. 6 Ford in upcoming events at Sonoma, Calif.; Chicagoland Speedway and Daytona International Speedway before yielding once again to Kenseth. After Kentucky, the 2003 series champion also will compete in New Hampshire, Pocono, Watkins Glen, Darlington, Indianapolis, Dover, Martinsville, Phoenix and Miami.
In his five starts thus far in 2018, Kenseth has a best finish of 13th earlier this month at Pocono Raceway. Bayne’s best finish in 11 starts is 12th at Texas.
