Company/What we do
Support Your Sales, Online and Off
Almost every business requires specialized equipment, devices, or products. Far from simple commodities, some are purchased only after extensive comparison shopping and detailed sales presentations. Some need installation and on-going service. Some are just hard to find. MRN’s branded, industry-centric ecommerce sites provide a targeted digital channel for these specialized products, as well as the parts and supplies that go with them. We’ll market and move your products online via paid search, organic search, affiliate marketing, and comparison engines. Yet, while we leverage every cool new tool the web allows, we also sell your products through traditional sales channels – telesales, catalogs, direct mail, and print advertising all with the greatest efficiency.

Company/Leadership
MRN's founders bring a diverse range of experience. They’ve been manufacturers and distributors. They've started and run Internet retailers, led ad agencies, and managed telesales shops. They've invested in manufacturing, distribution, technology, and service companies. Yet they share an understanding of the internet’s unprecedented ability to create new opportunities and have banded together to apply this forward thinking to specialty industrial products.

Skip Klintworth, Chief Experience Officer
Skip decided to co-create MRN with his business partner Brad after realizing how much he missed the incredible energy of an ecommerce driven business. He saw that there were still untapped areas within the industrial marketplace and felt that he could help champion a vision that would change the way specialty products were distributed across multiple verticals. Leveraging his 35 years of experience operating, building and investing in successful companies, Skip believes MRN is poised to redefine this marketplace.
Prior to creating MRN, Skip co-founded DWHP, a healthcare-focused private equity firm with $100 million under management. The advantage that Skip brought to the firm was his extensive operating experience, which he used to enhance each investment.
Skip also founded and was CEO and Chairman of the Board of Promedix Corporation. Promedix was the first ecommerce company focused on streamlining the supply chain for specialty medical products. Skip raised over $10 million in venture capital and grew the business to 160 employees before it was sold in February 2000 to Ventro Corporation (a transaction valued at $330 million).
Before Promedix, Skip founded and was CEO of Healthcare Technology Delivery Corporation (HTD). HTD was the largest specialty medical products distributor in the U.S., generating $120 million in annual revenue and employing over 300 people. Skip sold the company privately in 1997.
Prior to HTD, Skip was CEO of Alpha Protech, based in Salt Lake City. Alpha Protech is a manufacturer of protective apparel for the healthcare industry. Alpha Protech had sales of $8 million and 50 employees.
Skip's philanthropic interests include founding DreamWeaver Medical, a not-for-profit organization focused on providing healthcare supplies to surgical missions in developing countries. Skip also co-created the internationally syndicated TV show, Profiles in Caring, with his wife. This not-for-profit tells the stories of great, small charitable efforts around the world. Profiles is also currently in the process of introducing a sister effort called Goodtube, which is a web forum for videographers around the world to tell the stories of humanitarian efforts here and abroad.
What is your vision for MRN?
My vision for MRN is to create the first-multi vertical, industry-centric ecommerce company that maintains itself as one of the best places to sell to, buy from and work for.
What is your leadership style?
I believe that behind every great manager lies an army of talented individuals. I surround myself with the smartest, brightest and most energetic people - giving them the freedom to create new visions and better ways of doing business. It inspires me to work alongside people that not only care about building something great, but care about being involved in a culture that gives back.

He directs the internal and external communications programs for MRN, blending sales and marketing strategies with innovative technology to deliver optimized communications across multiple channels. By developing the Company as a thought leader in digital ecommerce marketing, he is able to execute a fresh vision for both the MRN branded sites and their respective vendors.
Before co-founding MRN, Brad was the founder and CEO of MCA HealthPages, Inc., a leading web design firm specializing in creating and hosting ecommerce web sites for medical manufacturers.
In 1998, Brad left MCA HealthPages to co-found Promedix, the first business-to-business healthcare supply exchange on the Internet. Later that year, Promedix received $3 million in venture capital funding from CMGI, enabling it to quickly expand from three people to 160 in eight months. In 2000, the company sold to Ventro Corporation (a transaction valued at $330 million).
Earlier in his career, Brad founded and managed a variety of digital imaging and advertising agencies, including Unica Multimeda Corporation. During that time, he realized the business potential of the Internet and used its emerging capabilities to supervise the creation of complex interactive presentations for Unica’s physician clients.
In addition to extensive marketing, ecommerce and interactive experience, Brad served 6 years as an officer in the U.S. Army, led the design of air defense weapon systems for General Dynamics Corporation, created the original concpt for and helped produce the videogame ZPC for Zombie Interactive Entertainment, and produced a feature film called "The Business of Fancydancing,” which premiered at the Sundance Film Festival.
Brad now returns to the industry with former partner, Skip, from Promedix, with an idea to create a Company that looks at ecommerce in a different light – blending site design, sales strategies and a comprehensive service offering to create an unprecendented buying experience.
