ASHEBORO, N.C. - Andy Seuss found his way back to Victory Lane at Caraway Speedway on Sunday night.
Seuss picked up his sixth NASCAR Whelen Southern Modified Tour win at the .455-mile oval, but his first since since 2011, in dominating fashion in the Caraway 150. He led led twice for a race-high 124 laps and outdistanced runner-up George Brunnhoelzl III by .833 seconds.
John Smith finished third followed by Tim Brown and J.R. Bertuccio. Kyle Ebersole finished sixth, which allowed Brunnhoelzl to stretch his points lead to 20 with three races remaining.
The win was the 13th of Seuss' career in 77 starts.
Danny Bohn finished seventh followed by Gary Putnam, Brandon Ward and Jason Myers. Luke Fleming was the Sunoco Rookie of the Race with his 11th-place finish.
Earlier in the day, Seuss had won his eighth career pole.
The NASCAR Whelen Southern Modified Tour will return to competition Sept. 21 for the G-Oil 150 at Southern National Raceway Park in Kenly, N.C.
