For the second consecutive week Brad Keselowski had an early exit in a Monster Energy NASCAR Cup Series race, this time coming with his first DNF at Dover International Speedway.

Keselowski, who finished 39th last weekend at Charlotte Motor Speedway after only completing 19 laps, was sent into the wall on lap 67 on Sunday when Kurt Busch got loose and made contact with him on the race's fourth restart. The heavy impact sent Keselowski to the garage and to a 38th-place finish in the AAA 400 Drive For Autism.

"I just was in the wrong place at the wrong time," Keselowski said. "It's a bummer."

Keselowski started eighth and was running fourth at the time of the incident.

"We were having a good day with the Wurth Ford Fusion and I think we were going to have a solid shot at this one and it just didn’t come together," Keselowski said.

Busch was second on the restart in the low lane besides leader Kyle Larson when he got loose.

"As a driver I didn’t bring my A-game today," Busch said after exiting the race, 27 laps later. "I felt like that was a good chance to win the stage and I pushed too hard. I got loose and I collected Brad. I feel bad that I ruined Brad’s day."
