DAYTONA BEACH, Fla. – Daytona International Speedway announced Tuesday that Fifth Third Bank, the Ohio-based diversified financial services company, has been named the official bank of "The World Center of Racing."

Beginning in 2016, Fifth Third will serve as an official partner of the DAYTONA 500 and the Coke Zero 400 Powered By Coca-Cola Sprint Cup Series races, and will integrate its ATMs into the redeveloped Speedway.

"The motor sports industry continues to be an important segment for us," said Brian Lamb, president and CEO of Fifth Third Bank (North Florida). "We're proud to be the official bank of this landmark racing venue and its global sports brands, and look forward to delivering innovative financial solutions to Daytona International Speedway as it continues to grow."

The multi-year agreement provides Fifth Third Bank with opportunities for fan engagement and corporate hospitality, and allows the promotional use of DIS and its races’ marks and logos.

"We're pleased to welcome Fifth Third Bank as the official bank of Daytona International Speedway,” said Joie Chitwood III, track president. "DAYTONA Rising continues to serve as a valuable marketing platform for our growing list of partners."

The relationship with Daytona International Speedway furthers Fifth Third Bank’s commitment to motor sports. It joined Roush Fenway Racing in 2012 and is a primary sponsor of Ricky Stenhouse Jr.'s No. 17 Sprint Cup Series Ford.
