A NASCAR return to Michigan International Speedway is on tap this weekend along with the Nationwide Series at Mid-Ohio Sports Car Course, the K&N Pro Series East and West divisions and World of Outlaws Sprint Car Series on the schedule.
Sunday’s Pure Michigan 400 is race No. 23 of the Sprint Cup season. Jimmie Johnson won when the series first visited the 2-mile track in June.
The weekend begins Friday with qualifying for the Pure Michigan 400. MRN.com will provide live coverage starting at 4:30 p.m. ET.
On Saturday, the Camping World Truck Series begins the second half of its 22-race schedule with the Careers for Veterans 200. MRN is on the air beginning at noon ET.
Sunday, MRN begins exclusive live radio coverage of the Pure Michigan 400 at noon ET.
MRN.com will be trackside at Michigan all weekend long for the latest news, results, information, statistics, photos, audio, video and post-race analysis.
Meanwhile, the Nationwide Series returns to Mid-Ohio Sports Car Course for Saturday’s running of the Nationwide Children’s Hospital 200. It’s the second week in a row the series will go road course racing after Marcos Ambrose won last Saturday’s stop at Watkins Glen International.

Elsewhere in the racing world the K&N Pro Series East travels to Virginia International Raceway for Saturday’s Biscuitville 125. The K&N Pro Series West has a Saturday night date at Evergreen Speedway.
And the World of Outlaws Sprint Car Series stops at North Dakota’s River Cities Speedway Friday night before moving on to Nodak Speedway on Sunday night.
