Bristol Motor Speedway hosts both the Nationwide and Sprint Cup Series this weekend to headline a racing calendar that includes the TUDOR United SportsCar Championship and World of Outlaws.
Saturday night’s IRWIN Tools Night Race is the 24th event on the 2014 Sprint Cup Series schedule with only three weeks left in the regular season. Twelve drivers have locked up berths in the Chase for the NASCAR Sprint Cup with four positions still up for grabs.
Carl Edwards was victorious when the series competed at Bristol back in the spring while Matt Kenseth is the defending race winner. Sprint Cup Series drivers will qualify Friday afternoon at 5:40 p.m. (ET).
Later that night, the Nationwide Series takes to the high-banked Tennessee short track for the Food City 300, which has been lengthened by 50 laps this year. The green flag is set to fly at 7:45 p.m. Then on Saturday night, the 2014 edition of the IRWIN Tools Night Race is also set to roll at 7:45 p.m.
MRN.com will be trackside in Bristol all weekend to bring you the latest breaking news, results, stats, features, audio, video, photos and post-race analysis.
Elsewhere, the inaugural TUDOR United SportsCar season rolls on with Round 11 - the Oak Tree Grand Prix at Virginia International Raceway for GT Daytona, GT Le Mans and Prototype Challenge classes. MRN will have live coverage of Sunday's race beginning at 3:45 p.m. (ET).
You can listen to the VIR broadcast on your local MRN radio affiliate or its website. The race will also stream live at MRN.com.
