BRISTOL, Tenn. - Two weeks after his first career NASCAR Sprint Cup victory, the moments are crystalizing for AJ Allmendinger.
It’s hard to appreciate all that happens in the moment, but as time progresses, the special moments stand out.
Such as the surprise JTG Daugherty co-owner Brad Daugherty had for Allmendinger after that race.
“I walked up and my bus had toilet paper all over the top of it,’’ Allmendinger said.
It was part of the joy Daugherty and co-owners Tad and Jodi Geschickter displayed that is special for Allmendinger.
“I think that was the most satisfying thing to me was just to see that emotion on their face and their body language and their true outright joy and happiness was something I will always remember.”
