Kentucky Speedway hosts a NASCAR tripleheader to highlight the racing weekend that will also see the TUDOR United SportsCar Series, Whelen Modified Tour and the World of Outlaws Sprint Cars in action.

Saturday’s Quaker State 400 marks the fourth time the NASCAR Sprint Cup Series has competed at the 1.5-mile track located in Sparta, Kentucky. Last year’s race was postponed by rain from Saturday night until Sunday afternoon with Matt Kenseth taking the checkered flag.

So far there have been 10 different winners in the first 16 races of the season and Kenseth is still trying to find Victory Lane after seven wins a year ago.

The Kentucky weekend kicked off with Thursday night’s Camping World Truck Series UNOH 225 with Kyle Busch taking the win.

Friday night the Nationwide Series tackles Kentucky for the first of two races this season for the series and the John R. Elliott HERO Campaign 300, which will take the green flag at 7:30 p.m. ET. Regan Smith leads Elliott Sadler by 10 points in the series standings.

Then on Saturday night the Quaker State 400 is scheduled to begin at 7:45 p.m. ET.

MRN.com will be trackside in Kentucky all weekend long to bring you the latest breaking news, results, statistics, photos, audio, video and post-race analysis.

Meanwhile at historic Watkins Glen Raceway the TUDOR United SportsCar Series is set for Sunday's Sahlen’s Six Hours of The Glen. Jordan and Ricky Taylor are atop the Prototype standings heading into the endurance race around the picturesque road course in upstate New York. MRN will have live coverage of the race beginning at 10:45 a.m. ET.

You can listen to the Watkins Glen broadcast on your local MRN affiliate or its website. The race will also stream online at MRN.com.

Elsewhere in the racing world the Whelen Modified Tour has a Saturday night date at New York’s Riverhead Raceway.

And the World of Outlaws Sprint Car Series is at 34 Raceway on Friday night and then off to Wisconsin for a Saturday night visit to Beaver Dam Raceway and a Sunday night race at Cedar Lake Speedway.
