The 30th running of the NASCAR Sprint All-Star Race headlines a busy motor sports weekend that includes the Nationwide and Camping World Truck Series, the K&N Pro Series and World of Outlaws Sprint Cars all in action.
Charlotte Motor Speedway is the site for this year’s running of the Sprint All-Star Race, which features an elite field of drivers gunning for a $1 million first prize. Jimmie Johnson will be shooting for his third straight win and fifth overall.
The busy Charlotte weekend begins with Friday’s Sprint Showdown, comprised of two 20-lap races that will send the top two finishers into Saturday's main event. MRN hits the airwaves at 7 p.m. (ET) for live coverage. Later that evening, the Camping World Truck Series returns to action with the North Carolina Education Lottery 200 - also live on MRN.
Saturday’s schedule kicks off with Sprint All-Star qualifying, featuring a unique format that includes three laps on the track and a four-tire pit stop. You can listen to live coverage on MRN.com. The weekend's headliner comes next, the 30th Sprint All-Star Race. Motor Racing Network's live coverage begins at 8 p.m.

Iowa Speedway kicks off its 2014 schedule with "Wide Opening Weekend." The NASCAR Nationwide Series takes center stage Sunday with the Get to Know Newton 250 Presented by Sherwin-Williams. Trevor Bayne is the defending winner. MRN will have live flag-to-flag coverage beginning at 1:30 p.m. (ET).
Saturday night, the best drivers in the K&N Pro Series East and West divisions compete on the .875-mile oval in the NASCAR 150.

Elsewhere, the World of Outlaws Sprint Car Series has a two-night show Friday and Saturday at Pennsylvania’s Williams Grove Speedway before making a Sunday stop at Orange County Fair Speedway in New York State.
