The 30th running of the NASCAR Sprint All-Star Race headlines a busy motor sports weekend that includes the Nationwide and Camping World Truck Series, the K&N Pro Series and World of Outlaws Sprint Cars all in action.

Charlotte Motor Speedway is the site for this year’s running of the Sprint All-Star Race, which features an elite field of drivers gunning for a $1 million first prize.  Jimmie Johnson will be shooting for his third straight win and fifth overall.

The busy Charlotte weekend begins with Friday’s Sprint Showdown, comprised of two 20-lap races that will send the top two finishers into Saturday's main event.  MRN hits the airwaves at 7 p.m. (ET) for live coverage.  Later that evening, the Camping World Truck Series returns to action with the North Carolina Education Lottery 200 - also live on MRN.

Saturday’s schedule kicks off with Sprint All-Star qualifying, featuring a unique format that includes three laps on the track and a four-tire pit stop.  You can listen to live coverage on MRN.com.  The weekend's headliner comes next, the 30th Sprint All-Star Race.  Motor Racing Network's live coverage begins at 8 p.m.

MRN.com will be trackside in Charlotte all weekend to bring you breaking news, results, stats, features, audio, video and post-race analysis.

Iowa Speedway kicks off its 2014 schedule with "Wide Opening Weekend."  The NASCAR Nationwide Series takes center stage Sunday with the Get to Know Newton 250 Presented by Sherwin-Williams.  Trevor Bayne is the defending winner.  MRN will have live flag-to-flag coverage beginning at 1:30 p.m. (ET).

Saturday night, the best drivers in the K&N Pro Series East and West divisions compete on the .875-mile oval in the NASCAR 150.

You can listen to MRN broadcasts from both Charlotte and Iowa on your local radio affiliate or its website.  All broadcasts will also stream live at MRN.com.

Elsewhere, the World of Outlaws Sprint Car Series has a two-night show Friday and Saturday at Pennsylvania’s Williams Grove Speedway before making a Sunday stop at Orange County Fair Speedway in New York State.
