Kansas Speedway hosts a NASCAR doubleheader this weekend under the lights to headline the racing calendar that also features the World of Outlaws STP Sprint Car Series.

For the first time in track history, Kansas will host a primetime Sprint Cup Series race - Saturday's 5-hour ENERGY 400 Benefitting Special Operations Warrior Foundation.  The race will be the first of two visits to the 1.5-mile track this season, which will also see the Sprint Cup Series return in October during the Chase for the NASCAR Sprint Cup.

Matt Kenseth is the defending race winner and still looking for his first win of the 2014 season.  Jeff Gordon, also winless so far this season, leads the Sprint Cup Series standings heading into the 11th race of the year.

The weekend begins Friday with MRN's coverage of qualifying to set the field for the 5-hour ENERGY 400, beginning at 6:30 p.m. (ET).  Later Friday, the NASCAR Camping World Truck Series returns to action with the SFP 250 after more than a month off.  Timothy Peters and Johnny Sauter are tied for the lead in the standings heading into the third race of the season.

MRN’s live coverage hits the air Friday at 8 p.m.  Then on Saturday, Motor Racing Network begins exclusive radio coverage of the 5-hour ENERGY 400 at 6:30 p.m.

You can listen to every Kansas race broadcast on your local MRN radio affiliate or on its website.  All broadcasts will also stream live at MRN.com ... which will be trackside at Kansas Speedway all weekend to bring you late-breaking news, features, results, statistics, photos, audio, video and post-race analysis.

Elsewhere, the World of Outlaws has a Friday night visit to Wisconsin’s Wilmot Speedway before heading to Indiana’s Tri-State Speedway on Saturday.

Stay with MRN.com all weekend for the latest racing news and information!
