BK Racing announced Monday that it has parted ways with David Reutimann.

The team did not state who would replace Reutimann.

Reutimann drove two races for the team in 2012 and all 36 in 2013. His best finish with the organization was 16th in last year’s Daytona 500. His average finish last year was 31.1. He failed to finish nine races, six because of mechanical issues and three because of accidents. He placed 33rd in the driver standings.

Last season was Reutimann’s seven full season in Cup. The 43-year-old has two career Cup wins in 232 starts. He won the 2009 Coca-Cola 600 and at Chicagoland Speedway in 2010. Both victories were with Michael Waltrip Racing.
