FOXSports.com is reporting that Martin Truex Jr. will join Furniture Row Racing for the 2014 NASCAR Sprint Cup Series.
The parties reportedly came to terms Wednesday night, though no formal announcement is expected until next week.
Truex is wrapping up his fourth year behind the wheel of the No. 56 Michael Waltrip Racing Toyota. NASCAR penalized MWR for its manipulation of the outcome of last month's regular-season finale at Richmond International Raceway, which led to Truex's dismissal from this year's Chase for the NASCAR Sprint Cup. NAPA Auto Parts later announced that it was pulling its sponsorship.
At Furniture Row Racing, Truex would replace Kurt Busch - who is moving to Stewart-Haas Racing.
