The second half of the Chase for the NASCAR Sprint Cup begins Sunday at Talladega Superspeedway with the Camping World Truck Series, K&N Pro Series East and Whelen Modified Tour also in action this weekend.
Sunday’s Camping World RV Sales 500 on the 2.66-mile Talladega oval has the potential to be the Wild Card in this year’s title race thanks to the unpredictable nature of restrictor-plate racing.
Matt Kenseth carries a four-point lead over Jimmie Johnson into the weekend with Kevin Harvick lurking behind in third, 29 out. David Ragan was the upset winner when the series visited the Alabama oval back in May.
Motor Racing Network will provide coverage of Sprint Cup Series qualifying on Saturday at 12 p.m. (ET), with live streaming at MRN.com. Sunday afternoon, MRN's exclusive flag-to-flag coverage of the Camping World RV Sales 500 begins at 1 p.m.
