Forget the troubles of the last four weeks. When the Chase rolls around, Jimmie Johnson, Chad Knaus and company know how to operate. While Kenseth will be a formidable foe, there isn't anyone else in this year's Chase field who has shown the ability to perform at a near-perfect level over an extended stretch of time. Johnson has been here before with great success. That experience will again prove to be more than beneficial in bringing home a sixth Sprint Cup Series trophy. Six-pack anyone?

1. Jimmie Johnson 2. Matt Kenseth 3. Kasey Kahne 4. Carl Edwards 5. Kyle Busch 6. Kevin Harvick 7. Dale Earnhardt Jr. 9. Joey Logano 10. Greg Biffle 11. Ryan Newman 12. Clint Bowyer

Matt Kenseth’s strength on the 1.5-mile tracks sways me since there are so many of those in the Chase. The only concern is Toyota Racing Development’s engine, which has had issues this season. Keep an eye on Kasey Kahne. I like the speed the team has shown. If they can avoid problems, they could be one to watch. I’m not too worried about Jimmie Johnson’s recent slump. I just think Kenseth and Kahne will be better. I’m still waiting for Kyle Busch to prove he can run a Chase without issues.
