A NASCAR doubleheader at Martinsville Speedway headlines the weekend racing calendar that includes the GRAND-AM Rolex Sports Car Series, K&N Pro Series East and the World of Outlaws in action.

The sixth race of the 2013 Sprint Cup Series season is set Sunday with the running of the STP Gas Booster 500 at Martinsville Speedway. The race is the second short-track race of the season and first of two visits to the .526-mile track this season.

Dale Earnhardt Jr. carries a 12-point lead in the Sprint Cup Series standings into the weekend as NASCAR gets back on track after the Easter break.

Jimmie Johnson won the pole for Sunday’s race with a track record lap of 98.400 mph. Sprint Cup Series teams will have a pair of practice sessions on Saturday to dial their cars in for the 500-lap grind.

Also on tap Saturday at Martinsville will be the second race of the NASCAR Camping World Truck Series season and the Kroger 250. Motor Racing Network will have live flag to flag coverage of the race beginning at 1:15 p.m. ET that will see Jeb Burton lead the field to the green.

Then on Sunday Motor racing Network will go on the air for live coverage of the STP Gas Booster 500 at 12 Noon ET.

Motor Racing Network will air live coverage of Saturday’s Porsche 250 beginning at 1:30 p.m. ET with the race airing on local MRN affiliate radio stations as well as streaming on MotorRacingNetwork.com.

The K&N Pro Series East division returns to historic Greenville-Pickens Speedway to run Saturday’s originally rained out Kevin Whitaker Chevrolet 150.
