DAYTONA BEACH, Fla. - Austin Dillon will drive the No. 51 Chevrolet for Phoenix Racing in the NASCAR Sprint Cup Series Kobalt Tools 400 at Las Vegas Motor Speedway.

Dillon, who will compete for the championship in the Nationwide Series along with a partial Cup schedule for Richard Childress Racing, will be sponsored by TAG Heuer Eyewear at Vegas in a current one-race deal with owner James Finch.

"TAG Heuer Eyewear has been a partner with my brother and I, and my grandfather," Dillon said. "They wanted to work together with Finch and put together a race. I felt like it was a good opportunity to go out and get some laps and try to win a race for Phoenix Racing."

The Las Vegas race, which will mark the first 1.5-mile track in 2013, will have an extra day of testing for the new sixth-generation Cup cars.

"Being in a car at Vegas will be fun," Dillon said. "There's a full test day there so I'll be able to learn a lot and get to know the guys."

Dillon is currently testing RCR's No. 33 Chevrolet at Daytona International Speedway in preparation for the Cup Series season opener on Feb. 24.

"We feel like our cars are all fast," said Dillon, who was 10th fastest in the Friday morning session. "All the RCR cars have been up front the whole time we have been here."
