Clint Bowyer and Jeff Gordon were involved in a pair of incidents at Phoenix International Raceway that triggered a fight between their crews in the aftermath.
With seven laps remaining in the AdvoCare 500, they collided - Gordon cutting a tire and crashing into the wall. NASCAR black-flagged Gordon as he limped around the desert oval in his battered Chevrolet. But he defied the order, remaining on the speedway. And when Bowyer came back around, Gordon turned into him - setting off a chain-reaction accident.
That triggered the brawl in the garage area that erupted between both crews before NASCAR officials were able to break things up.
