3. Dale Earnhardt Jr.: Rallied back for a top-10 finish in Atlanta after battling handling problems for most of Sunday night's race.

4. Jimmie Johnson: A miscalculation on the backstretch resulted in Johnson starting a three-car accident with Sam Hornish Jr. and Ryan Newman that cost the Hendrick Motorsports driver a shot at his fourth win of the season.

5. Matt Kenseth: Quiet night for Kenseth with a top-10 finish. Will officially announce his new home at Joe Gibbs Racing this week.

6. Greg Biffle: Many expected more from Biffle at Atlanta but all the Roush Fenway Racing driver could deliver was a 15th-place finish. Still has the Sprint Cup Series point lead with one race left in the regular season.

7. Clint Bowyer: Eventful weekend for Bowyer but not in a good way. Started at the rear of the field after changing engines after Saturday's practice and then dealt with battery issues during the race.

8. Martin Truex Jr.: A bittersweet weekend in Atlanta for Truex Jr. who signed a new contract extension with Michael Waltrip Racing but saw his chance at winning go out the window when a caution flew with five laps left in the race, erasing his comfortable lead.

9. Tony Stewart: Also had a bitter Atlanta weekend that started with a rare pole but ended with a frustrating night in the race. Oh, and primary sponsor Office Depot announced it would not be back next year.

10. Kasey Kahne: Another member of the disappointed in Atlanta list. Kahne had early issues that put him out of contention for a win pretty early Sunday night.
