1. Greg Biffle: Still hanging on to the series point lead and the number one spot in the rankings despite nothing too spectacular coming from the No. 16 team of late.

Season-to-Date Driver Rating: 107.1
Point Standings: First
Previous Ranking: First

2. Jimmie Johnson: Two wins in the last three points races, with a Sprint All-Star Race victory thrown in for good measure, adds up to Johnson running as well as anyone in the Sprint Cup Series right now.

Season-to-Date Driver Rating: 109.0
Point Standings: Fifth
Previous Ranking: Third

3. Matt Kenseth: Crept within one point of Biffle for the series lead after a third-place run Sunday in Dover. A typical Kenseth performance definitely has him on the list of drivers capable of contending for this year’s title.

Season-to-Date Driver Rating: 104.2
Point Standings: Second
Previous Ranking: Second

4. Dale Earnhardt Jr.: Part of the Hendrick brigade’s stellar outing in Dover (despite Jeff Gordon’s ultimately frustrating 13th-place finish). Junior is currently among the most consistent drivers in the series, as his third-place spot in the standings illustrates.

Season-to-Date Driver Rating: 98.6
Point Standings: Third
Previous Ranking: Sixth

5. Martin Truex Jr.: Truex Jr. had hoped for a better homecoming in Dover and perhaps his second career Sprint Cup Series win. Didn’t turn out that way, but came home with a respectable top-10 finish.

Season-to-Date Driver Rating: 97.5
Point Standings: Sixth
Previous Ranking: Fifth

6. Kevin Harvick: Thrilled to have a second-place finish after what could have been a catastrophic day with a pit road miscue. However, Harvick wasn’t able to get close enough to Johnson to display any of “The Closer” talents for a potential win.

Season-to-Date Driver Rating: 97.0
Point Standings: Seventh
Previous Ranking: Ninth

7. Denny Hamlin: Not much of a factor all weekend at Dover, with a rather forgettable 18th-place finish. On the bright side, the No. 11 FedEx team didn’t experience any engine problems like his JGR teammate Kyle Busch.

Season-to-Date Driver Rating: 101.2
Point Standings: Fourth
Previous Ranking: Fourth

8. Kyle Busch: Speaking of Busch, he started the day in Dover with a fast car but ended up in the garage area with a blown engine. Still had a better weekend than big brother Kurt.

Season-to-Date Driver Rating: 97.3
Point Standings: Ninth
Previous Ranking: Seventh

9. Tony Stewart: Stewart’s day really never got started when he was swept up in the early race multi-car accident on the backstretch. He was able to come back out and limp home to a 25th-place finish, thanks in no small part to the day’s attrition.

Season-to-Date Driver Rating: 91.0
Point Standings: Eighth
Previous Ranking: Eighth

10. Brad Keselowski: Still has the number one spot in the Chase wild card race, but not much to shout about from his day at the “Monster Mile.” A 12th-place finish for the Blue Deuce won’t be remembered as one of the team’s most memorable efforts of the season.

Season-to-Date Driver Rating: 94.3
Point Standings: 11th
Previous Ranking: 10th
