Defending Nationwide Series champion Ricky Stenhouse Jr. will start the Daytona 500 in Roush Fenway Racing's No. 6 Ford.

Although Roush won't run the car the complete season after losing sponsor UPS at the end of last year, David Ragan's 2011 owner point guarantees the entry a starting spot in the first five races of the season.

Stenhouse will begin the campaign in the Daytona 500 and a Roush spokesman said the team would decide if additional races will be added to the schedule pending more sponsorship.

The team will participate in next week's Preseason Thunder test session at Daytona.

It's still unclear whether Stenhouse will defend his title and run the complete Nationwide schedule in 2012.
