The NASCAR Sprint All-Star Race at Charlotte Motor Speedway headlines a very busy weekend of racing with the Camping World Truck Series, Nationwide Series, NHRA, Formula One, ARCA, Indy 500 qualifying and the World of Outlaws all in action.

The 2011 edition of the Sprint All-Star Race will again feature four segments of racing highlighted by a 10-lap dash to the checkered flag for a cool $1 million payday. A field of 28 drivers will start the night in the Sprint Showdown with the top-two finishers from the preliminary event as well as one additional driver from the Sprint Fan Vote transferring to the main event.

Penske Racing’s Kurt Busch will look to defend his title from last year’s All-Star Race.

Saturday night’s festivities begin with the Sprint Showdown at 7 p.m. (ET) with the All-Star Race immediately following. Motor Racing Network will provide live flag-to-flag coverage of the entire night of racing beginning at 6:30 p.m. (ET).

The weekend kicks off on Friday night at Charlotte with the Camping World Truck Series North Carolina Education Lottery 200. Motor Racing Network’s live broadcast will begin at 7:45 p.m. (ET).

MotorRacingNetwork.com will be trackside in Charlotte and provide comprehensive coverage all weekend long including breaking news, results, features, statistics, audio, video, photos and post-race analysis.

Elsewhere in the racing world the NASCAR Nationwide Series travels to Iowa Speedway for the first of two visits in 2011. Sunday afternoon’s John Deere Dealers 250 Presented by Pioneer will hit the air when Motor Racing Network’s coverage begins at 1:30 p.m. (ET).

Qualifying for this year’s 100th Anniversary running of the Indianapolis 500 is set at the historic speedway on Saturday and Sunday to set the field for the May 29th event known as “The Greatest Spectacle in Racing.”

The Formula One World Championship travels to Spain for Sunday’s Spanish Grand Prix.

The NHRA Full Throttle Drag Racing Series roars into Heartland Park Topeka for the O’Reilly Summer Nationals.

The ARCA Series tackles the twisting road course of New Jersey Motorsports park for Sunday’s ModSpace 150.
