Weekend Schedules: NASCAR - Auto Club | ARCA - Rockingham | F1 - Japan | NHRA - Maple Grove

The fourth race of the Chase for the Sprint Cup at Auto Club Speedway headlines a weekend of racing that includes the Nationwide Series, NHRA, Formula One, ARCA and the World of Outlaws in action.
 
Sunday’s Pepsi MAX 400 at the two-mile Auto Club Speedway brings NASCAR’s race for the 2010 championship to Southern California. Series point leader and four-time champion Jimmie Johnson has won the last three fall visits to ACS and has five career wins at the California native’s home track.
 
MotorRacingNetwork.com will provide comprehensive coverage of the weekend’s action beginning with Friday’s qualifying session for the Pepsi MAX 400 at 6:40 p.m. ET.
 
Saturday afternoon the Nationwide Series tackles the track for the running of the Camping World 300. ESPN2 and MRN Radio will provide live coverage beginning at 4 p.m. ET.
 
Sunday’s Pepsi Max 400 is slated for a 3:15 p.m. ET green flag with ESPN and MRN providing live flag-to-flag coverage beginning at 2 p.m.

Elsewhere in the racing world the 2010 ARCA season championship will be decided Saturday afternoon at Rockingham Speedway in the American 200. Patrick Sheltra leads Tom Hessert by 10 points with Craig Goess 20 out heading into the final race of the season. SPEED will televise the race live beginning at 1:30 p.m. ET.
 
The Formula One Series heads to Japan for the weekend’s Grand Prix of Japan. SPEED’s coverage is at 1:30 a.m. ET Sunday morning.
 
The NHRA Full Throttle Drag Racing Series rolls into Maple Grove Raceway for this weekend’s Toyo Tires Nationals. ESPN will cover final round elimination action Sunday night at 9 p.m. ET.
 
And the World of Outlaws Sprint Car Series visits New York’s Rolling Wheels Raceway on Saturday night.
