ESPN Changes Lineup

CONCORD, N.C. - Rusty Wallace is out and Dale Jarrett is in as ABC/ESPN shakes up its talent line-up for the 2008 NASCAR season.

Wallace will shift from lead analyst to a studio host while the retiring Jarrett moves into the broadcast booth with Dr. Jerry Punch and Andy Petree.

"We now have the opportunity to provide our viewers with analysis from a pair of former NASCAR Cup champions with Dale Jarrett in the booth and Rusty Wallace on the NASCAR Countdown set as well as on other platforms," said Norby Williamson, ESPN executive vice president, studio and event production. “We were pleased to have Dale with us in a limited role last year and look forward to his participation on a regular basis."

Other changes include Allen Bestwick replacing Brent Musburger and Suzy Kolber as the studio show host. Shannon Spake takes Bestwick's spot in pit road.

Also ESPN's daily show "NASCAR Now" will have a new host when former "SPEED Report" anchor Nicole Manske takes over for Erik Kuselias.
