0 - The July 11, 1971 race at Bristol Motor Speedway had zero cautions, the only time in the track's history.
1 - There has been one extended race at Bristol (March 2005 – 504 laps).
2 - Matt Kenseth has won the last two Bristol night races - his only victories at BMS. He joined Dale Earnhardt and Darrell Waltrip as the only drivers to have won back-to-back Bristol night races. Waltrip is the only driver to have won three consecutive.
