Weather Winning In Indy

INDIANAPOLIS - Wet weather has played havoc with Friday's day of racing in Indianapolis as practice for the NASCAR NEXTEL Cup Series was scrubbed at the Indianapolis Motor Speedway and qualifying for the Craftsman Truck Series knocked out at O'Reilly Raceway Park.

Rain forced officials to reschedule Cup practice for Saturday morning from 8:30 to 11 a.m.

Bud Pole qualifying for the Allstate 400 at The Brickyard is now slated for 4:05 p.m.

Friday night's Craftsman Truck Series Power Stroke Diesel 200 at O'Reilly Raceway Park will be lined-up based on the point standings after rain washed out the schedule qualifying round.

NASCAR officials hope to still get the race in Friday night.
