MB2 In Martins Future

Mark Martin looks like he'll split his time next season in a MB2 NEXTEL Cup ride with Regan Smith.

Sources are reporting Martin will drive an MB2 NEXTEL Cup Chevrolet in 22 races next season with rookie Smith in the car for the balance of the schedule. The ride is said to carry the No. 13 and will give MB2 a third team in addition to Joe Nemechek and Sterling Marlin.

Roush Racing and Martin have scheduled a press conference Friday at 10:30 a.m. (ET) where it is expected they will announce these plans.

Stay with RacingOne as we will be trackside from the 2.66-mile Talladega Superspeedway with all the details from the press conference as well as the goings on this weekend.
