Gilliland Entered At MIS

David Gilliland will make his second career NASCAR NEXTEL Cup Series start in Sunday's GFS Marketplace 400 at Michigan International Speedway.

Robert Yates Racing submitted his entry in the No. 38 M&M'S Ford today, replacing Elliott Sadler.

The official announcement for Gilliland to take over the driving duties of the No. 38 is slated for Friday when he will hit the track for the first time in public behind the wheel of the Yates Ford.

Gilliland, who finished 29th in the Indy Busch race with Yates, spent this week testing with the team at Kentucky Speedway.

In June, he finished 32nd in his Cup debut driving the No. 72 Dodge for owner Bryan Mullet.
