Iracingone Power Rankings/I

1. Tony Stewart (Previous Ranking: 1st): Runnerup finish at New Hampshire a solid if not spectacular start to the "Chase."

2. Greg Biffle (Previous Ranking: 2nd):Got nipped by Roush teammate Kenseth for third at Loudon but still a good way to start the championship season.

3. Matt Kenseth (Previous Ranking: 9th): Here comes the 2003 champion getting hot at the right time of the year.

4. Ryan Newman (Previous Ranking: 10th): New Hampshire track record still as good as anywhere with his first career win and first "Chase" win both coming in Loudon.

5. Rusty Wallace (Previous Ranking: 4th): Continues to place the No. 2 among the Top 10 every week, but a win would be a better way to cement a championship.

6. Mark Martin (Previous Ranking: 6th): The "Monster Mile" could be the place where No. 6 gets to victory lane.

7. Jimmie Johnson (Previous Ranking: 3rd): Can last year's "Chase" dominance happen again? If not, he'll be in the second five at the end-of-the-year.

8. Kurt Busch (Previous Ranking: 3rd): Didn't take his "mulligan" until Atlanta last year. No room for another this season.

9. Jeremy Mayfield (Previous Ranking: 8th): The fuel mileage thing was possibly falling their way again Sunday at Loudon. Needs to find a better way to challenge for a checkered flag or championship hopes are dead.

10. Carl Edwards (Previous Ranking: 9th): Not a terrible way to begin his first "Chase," but not a stellar start by any means.
