Each week we'll bring you the story from Tommy's weekend at Hickory, one of the most storied short tracks in the country. We'll follow along as he battles some of the country's best short track drivers in quest for the Dodge Weekly Series track championship.

September 17 Race Report
Tommy was back in action after a week off. He was looking forward to racing his last points event of the year and capturing another top 10 finish. Tommy qualified in the 11th position and due to the short length of the race (50 laps) Tommy was unable to gain positions in his final race of 2005 at Hickory. He kept the car clean and settled for an 11th place finish.

September 3 Race Report
Tommy was back in action after a long week of media obligations surrounding the Sony HD 500 NEXTEL Cup event in Los Angeles, California. Tommy was back in town in time for the Bobby Isaac 200 lap Memorial race at Hickory Motor Speedway. After qualifying in 14th position, Tommy charged to the front and was passing for fifth-place when his rear tire failed, began to deflate and Tommy was able to hang-on to eighth place, marking his sixth-straight top-10 finish!

August 20 Race Report
Tommy and the No. 99 ALLSTATE/RacingOne team came into Saturday night riding a hot streak unheard of in short-track racing. Confidence is at a season high after Tommy had posted top-10 finishes in each of the previous four races. Not much changed on this evening as Tommy qualified deep in the field, but muscled his ALLSTATE Charger to the front after 15 laps and raced in the top 10 for the final 35 laps. With Tommy’s recent success, he’s currently 9th in track points and is knocking on the door for “Rookie of the Year” honors.

August 16 Race Report
The Evernham looked to continue to ride the recent momentum into Saturday’s 100 lap event at Hickory. Tommy qualified in 16th position, but wasted little time making his way through the field. Tommy had a top-five finish on his radar but a late race caution squandered any hopes of a win or top five. He settled for a 10th place finish but confidence is high with only two points races remaining. Tommy hopes to finish the year with the Rookie of the Year award.

August 6 Race Report
The Evernham team was back in action at Hickory Motor Speedway Saturday sporting a shiny new Allstate primary paint scheme. Tommy qualified 18th for both 50 lap events and made his way through traffic quickly. The car was dialed in from the green flag and Tommy avoided competitors mishaps to race in the top 10 in both races. He finished the first 50 lap event in seventh-place, and the second in 10th place. With these results, Tommy completed his third-straight race with a top-10 finish, not an easy task at the always competitive Hickory Motor Speedway.

July 30 Race Report
The RacingOne.com Team was back in action for the second week in a row and Tommy and the Evernham gang were raring to go. Tommy placed the Racingone.com Dodge in 15th starting position but made his way through the pack early and was in the top-10 after the first 20 laps. Tommy showed his talent while negotiating his way to the seventh position where he finished the race, posting his second top-10 of the year and highest finish to date!

July 23 Race Report
The RacingOne.com Team was back in action for nearly the first time in a month. Tommy began the race in 15th position, but was fast early and raced in the top-10 for the majority of the evening. He was treated post-race for dehydration but was satisfied to bring home a clean race car and end up with a 15th place finish despite the on-track heat.

June 25 Race Report
Tommy began the race in 15th position. The RacingOne.com Dodge was fast in practice, but track conditions changed considerably during qualifying and the Evernham team missed the set-up by 2 tenths of a second. The race began and Tommy was able to negotiate his position on the track through the first 50 laps without incident. Midway through the race, at competitors became impatient, Tommy was able to avoid trouble and bring the RacingOne.com Dodge home in 14th position.

June 18 Race Report
Tommy Lane placed the Racingone.com Dodge in the 13th starting grid forthe second consecutive week. The field was strong at 21 cars and Tommy’s car was fast early. He raced in the top 11 for the majority of the race and began to experience handling problems due to a vibration on his right front tire. Further inspection revealed the front right tire was loosing air. Tommy did a great job of keeping the fenders on the car and salvaging a 14th place finish.

June 11 Race Report
Tommy Lane and the RacingOne.com team were back in action at Hickory Motor Speedway on Saturday night. After qualifying in 13th position, Tommy had much ground to cover in the 50 lap event. April 30 Race Report
After qualifying in 14th place, Tommy was eager to pilot the RacingOne Dodge to the front of the field. Tommy was fast early, and was able to race with the leaders until a lap 20 accident sent him to the pits for repairs. The RacingOne crew did a great job allowing Tommy's car to return to the track, but 3 laps later, the RacingOne Dodge made heavy impact with the retaining wall in Turn 4 and wasn't able to complete the evening's race. Tommy was checked out by paramedics and released under his own accord.

April 9 Race Report
Tommy showed his growing confidence with the track and car by posting a blitzing fourth-place qualifying effort in a field of 18 cars. Tommy had a rocket-ship early and raced with the leaders for the majority of the race. A late race spin took him out of contention for the win, however he finished in a respectable ninth-place position.

April 2 Race Report
Tommy kicked off the 2005 season in strong fashion with a respectable qualifying effort of 12th place. Tommy raced to a 17th place finish in the 50 lap event and the final results were not indicative of his on-track performance this night.
