Isn't it nice that someone other than a Roush Racing or Hendrick Motorsports driver is winning races? Good to see one of the non"Super Teams" doing well.

Tony Stewart is the complete opposite of the robot drivers that now populate NASCAR racing. He says what's on his mind, he isn't politically correct and most importantly, he's a hell of a driver.

Jack Kennedy, Boca Raton, Florida

The fence climbing bit is great, even if Stewart stole it from Helio Castroneves. The burnouts and donuts are almost as tired as the military aircraft flyover that happens at every race. Good for you Tony to come up with something different and a celebration that fans obviously enjoy.

Mike Rogers, Princeton, Illinois

Is New Hampshire the worst track on the NASCAR schedule? I can't ever remember an exciting race there, except for a couple last lap bump and runs which are the only way you can pass. This track doesn't belong on the schedule and the fact that NASCAR goes there twice in two months is criminal.

Fred George, Appleton, Wisconsin

Loudon is the worst place to watch a race. I was in traffic for nearly 4 hours after the checkered flag flew on Sunday and I vow never to go back again until something is done about it. There was a rumor that the track was going to lose a date as early as next season and I say amen to that. Once is enough.

Thomas Shinkle, Waterford, Massachusetts

Michael Waltrip was nothing until DEI gave him a shot and even then, if it's not a restrictor plate track, he's a non-factor. For him to walk away from the team that put him on the map shows how loyal he and his mouth are. I can't wait to watch him run last next season with a crummy team.

Gerry Forrester, Ann Arbor, Michigan

Michael Waltrip is probably the most irritating driver in NASCAR today with his constant mugging on camera and plugs for his sponsors. Now he thinks he can walk away from the team that gave him his biggest shot at success, at which he's failed miserably. See ya Michael, do us a favor and take a walk and bring your annoying older brother with you.

Bill Keel, Cedar Rapids, Iowa

Jeff Gordon is experiencing the kind of bad luck that most drivers and teams do from time to time throughout their careers. He's seeing how the rest of the racing world lives, something he's not had to experience before.

Williams Monroe, Thomasville, North Carolina

Memo to Brian France: When renewing the next television contract, leave FOX out. NBC/TNT is by far the better of the two entities televising NASCAR races. We get spoiled as NASCAR fans with the television coverage available. Don't believe me? Try watching an IRL or Champ Car telecast, like I did over the weekend. Brutal!

Carl Jefferson, Eden Prairie, Minnesota

Mark Martin should stick to his plan and retire. If he stays, I expect all us dumb fans who bought merchandise from the "Salute to You" tour to get a refund. Nice to know the salute may turn out to be the middle finger.

Hank Enders, Monroe, Michigan
