LOUDON, N.H. - Mother Nature wasn't ready for the "Chase for the Nextel Cup" to begin on Friday as wet weather cancelled qualifying for the Sylvania 300 at New Hampshire International Speedway.

So Sunday's race will be lined-up based on the current point standings, which puts all ten of the "Chase for the Championship" contenders at the front of the field.

Jeff Gordon and Jimmie Johnson will make up the front row followed by Dale Earnhardt, Jr., Tony Stewart and Matt Kenseth.

Elliott Sadler, Kurt Busch, Mark Martin, Jeremy Mayfield and Ryan Newman round out the first ten.

The weather knocked out eight driver's chances of making Sunday's field including Martin Truex, Jr., Johnny Sauter, Kevin Lepage, Carl Long, Greg Sacks, Ryan McGlynn, Tony Raines and Stan Boyd.

Sunday's Sylvania 300 will take the green flag at 12:30 p.m. (ET) and be televised live on TNT.
