Dura-Lube 400 Schedule Changes

North Carolina Speedway today announced a significant schedule change for the Dura-Lube 400 on February 23rd through 25th.

Qualifying will now be held on Saturday, February 24 instead of Friday. Also, qualifying will now be conducted in only one round.

"We are excited about the changes NASCAR had made to the qualifying schedule," North Carolina Speedway Executive Vice President and General Manager Chris Browning said. "This new format will be great for out fans. Saturday will be an action packed day with practice, NASCAR Winston Cup Series qualifying, the NASCAR Busch Series race and final practice for the NASCAR Winston Cup Series teams all for one ticket price."

The NASCAR Busch Series will qualify of Friday, February 23 followed by practice for the NASCAR Winston Cup Series teams and the final NASCAR Busch Series practice. The Dura-Lube 400 on Sunday will cap the weekend full of racing.

Tickets for both the ALLTEL 200 and the Dura-Lube 400 are still available at the speedway ticket office.
