Sadler Back With Special K

Next weekend, Busch Series regular Hermie Sadler will drive a Bob Keselowski-owned truck during the inaugural Craftsman Truck Series event at Dover Downs International Speedway.

Sadler, who qualified third and finished 12th last Thursday at Richmond for Keselowski, believes the team's Richmond debut was good, but not good enough. He expects better at Dover.

"To show up for the first time together without testing and qualify third was a big accomplishment." Sadler says. "Our next step is to race better, which I think we will at Dover. Bob and I both know this business is based on communication and performance. We hope to perform well enough to attract some attention from potential sponsors. We feel like we have a lot to offer."

Keselowski also feels like this could be a potent combination.

"We have put a great deal of time and effort into making this a championship-caliber team, and we plan to continue to be a force in the Craftsman Truck Series for years to come," says Keselowski, co-owner of K Automotive with brother Ron. "Our hope is that through our performance with Hermie in these couple races, that we can attract primary sponsorship for next season and beyond."

Sadler competes in the Busch Series for Innovative Motorsports and is unsure of his plans for next season. Keselowski, who recently announced he was losing his primary sponsorship next year, is reportedly working with Sadler to finalize plans for 2001.
