Wallace Team Punished Loses Practice Session

Now, car owner Andy Petree and crew chief Jimmy Elledge, will pay with the loss of one of their seven testing sessions. They were sanctioned for testing two cars with two drivers during a practice session at Michigan Speedway in May.
"We feel like somebody ratted us out," Wallace said at Dover Downs International Speedway. "We used to say in high school that somebody knocked us out."
Wallace, whose brother, Rusty, will start from the pole Sunday in the MBNA Platinum 400, has a new theory about how to achieve Winston Cup success.
"It seems like the most popular thing here is to be the bad boy and get away with everything you can," a smirking Wallace said. "Maybe I'll become more popular and people will love me more for trying to cheat."
