Chase Briscoe scored his first career NASCAR Camping World Truck Series win in Friday night's Ford EcoBoost 200 at Homestead-Miami Speedway while Christopher Bell took home the championship.

Briscoe led 77 laps to take the checkered flag and give Brad Keselowski Racing a victory in what was the team’s final start before closing its doors. He held off Bell by 2.887-second to win the race while Bell’s finish locked up the 2017 Camping World Truck Series championship.

"Just can't thank Brad and everybody at BKR," Briscoe said. "For us to not be in the playoffs and shutting down, to still bring trucks that can win races and sit on the pole, just a huge statement from the organization in general.  Just can't thank the guys enough at the shop to keep believing in all of us, especially me and Austin.

“I know two years ago I was sleeping on couches and now to be a winner in NASCAR. I wish we were in the final four. I felt like we could have been but that’s part of the circumstances. I have to thank Brad and Ford and the Cunninghams. It’s been a long time coming. I can’t thank them enough.”

Team owner Brad Keselowski celebrated the win for his young driver.

“I feel that Chase is one of the best young talents – if not the best – in the sport that is not in the Cup Series so it is not a surprise to me to see him win a race and make the playoffs in his rookie year,” said Keselowski. “It has been tremendous to have a role in continuing to develop top-tier talent in NASCAR. Chase is a driver that has that kind of future and I am proud, just like I was when Ryan Blaney won for us, that we could play a part in his growth.”

Bell’s finish wrapped the title for Kyle Busch Motorsports.

“It’s a dream come true,” Bell said. “These trucks are so good and they pay so much attention to all the detail that goes into these things, and that’s what makes these Tundras so fast. I’m just speechless.”

Johnny Sauter, Ryan Truex and Austin Cindric completed the top five finishers.

“To get Chase a win after so many seconds he’s had this year, it’s a dream way to finish it out,” said Briscoe’s teammate Cindric. “ Obviously, we wanted the championship, but we’ve come a long way in not a long time, so I’m proud of the effort and proud of how far we’ve come and I’m looking forward to the future.”

Sauter came up short of winning a second straight series championship.

“We gave it our best shot,” Sauter said. “This is a great team and we’re going to be back next year right back here hopefully battling for another championship.”

Matt Crafton, Stewart Friesen, Grant Enfinger, Justin Haley and Timothy Peters completed the first 10 finishers.

The race had only two cautions, the lowest number of the season.
