"Target Chip Ganassi Racing is all about winning and with Scott we have a proven race winner and series champion. We want to continue to build on that together. Putting this contract together with Scott at this point of the season is key because it now allows us to put our entire focus on the 88th running of the Indy 500 and on working to defend our 2003 Championship. Scott is making a commitment to the team, and the Target team is making a commitment to him. Together we are committed to winning."

"I very happy to continue to drive with Target Chip Ganassi Racing for the next few years," said Scott Dixon, driver for Target Chip Ganassi Racing since 2002. "They've always proven that they were committed to winning and we did that together. There is more that we can do together. I want to defend my championship and I want to win the Indianapolis 500.
