VIP Hospitality At The Glen
February 12, 2009 | 3:44 P.M. EST
The historic event features the Grand-Am Rolex Sports Car Series presented by Crown Royal Cask No. 16. Last year, Scott Pruett and Memo Rojas of Chip Ganassi Racing with Felix Sabages prevailed in an exciting battle with Brumos Porsche drivers David Donohue and Darren Law. While the Ganassi duo went on to win the 2009 Daytona Prototype championship, Law and Donohue prevailed in the closest finish in 24-hour race history to open the 2009 season at the Rolex 24 At Daytona.
The Sahlen's Six Hours of The Glen takes the green flag at 2:15 p.m., following a 10 a.m. race for the NASCAR Camping World East Series.
The Saturday Turn 11 Fan Hospitality includes an exclusive chalet-style hospitality area; all-you-can-eat tailgate style lunch buffet; all day beverage service; question and answer sessions with selected NASCAR and Grand-Am drivers; a souvenir gift and event program; and musical entertainment.
The chalet costs only $25, and is located inside Turn 11 - the closest viewing location at The Glen. In addition, the area has closed-circuit televisions for viewing the live telecast of the race on SPEED, and is convenient to the pit and paddock areas. A general admission ticket or credential is necessary for admission to the circuit.
