Montoya Cant Wait

Juan Pablo Montoya is looking forward to replacing Jenson Button at Williams. The Colombian driver's Formula One arrival has been one of the worst kept secrets this season.

Montoya's relationship with his new teammate, Ralf Schumacher, has already got off to a turbulent start with the German saying he expects the Colombian to suffer the same fate as Alex Zanardi who also made the transition from CART to Formula One, but failed miserably in his attempt. But Montoya has other plans.

"I can't wait to get in the car and start testing myself," said Montoya. "I feel bad that I couldn't give the Ganassi Racing team one more championship, but I'm focused on my new job already."

Montoya's first test with the Williams team is scheduled for December at Jerez in Spain and the pressure, it seems, is the least thing that will affect him.

"The cars are obviously different," he added. "But I'm looking forward to the challenge ahead. The pressure is on, but I thrive on that and I'm sure there are exciting times ahead."
