Alex Bowman led by as many as 11 seconds after the halfway point of the Kentuckiana Ford Dealers 200 at Salem Speedway, but still had to keep nine-time Salem winner Frank Kimmel at bay to score his third ARCA Racing Series presented by Menards win in five career starts.

Bowman, driving the No. 22 St. Jude Children's Research Hospital Dodge for Cunningham Motorsports, won by a final margin of 1.276 seconds over Kimmel, who was in contention for his first ARCA win since September 13, 2008.

Brennan Poole finished third to take the ARCA Racing Series points lead. Chase Elliott, making just his second ARCA start, earned his second top-10 by finishing fourth. Fifteen-year-old Erik Jones edged 16-year-old teammate Clint King for fifth, giving Venturini Motorsports three of the top six positions in the finishing order.

Chris Buescher finished seventh after winning the pole and leading the race's first 39 laps. Tyler Reddick, another 16-year-old competitor new to ARCA, finished eighth. Josh Williams was ninth and Mason Mingus finished 10th.

The ARCA Racing Series will be back in action in a big way in four days, as the series travels to Talladega Superspeedway for the International Motorsports Hall of Fame 250. The race will begin at 5 p.m. ET and air live on SPEED. will feature live audio from WTDR Thunder 92.7 FM of Talladega, as well as live timing and scoring as presented by ARCA Nation. will have more information about the Kentuckiana Ford Dealers 200 shortly.
