"To be here in Daytona in Victory Lane is amazing," said Busch. "I came here when I was 8 years old just dreaming of being able to race here some day. Here we are first time out putting it in Victory Lane."
Busch, who now has three career ARCA victories, will begin his full-time campaign on the Busch Series circuit next week in the Hershey's Kisses 300.
Frank Kimmel finished second in the Advance Auto Parts Ford, a career-best at Daytona, in his 259th start. Shane Hmiel, Billy Venturini and Ryan Hemphill rounded out the Top 5.
After battling back from a lap down early on, Busch led 34 laps in the 80-lap event, while Kimmel was next in the lap-leader category with 25.
"We were penalized for being over the wall without a helmet or whatever it was," said Busch. "I just told the crew that this car is the no. 8 of the ARCA Series."
The ARCA RE/MAX Series will return to action on April 9th, when the series heads to Nashville Superspeedway for the running of the PFG Lester 150.
